Hayden kicked off the Weather Channel's inaugural Forecast Earth Summit in Washington D.C. speaking to a group of high school students about climate and environmental literacy and her involvement with the Save the Whales Again! and Declare Yourself campaigns.	Hayden in her classic black mini-dress receives The Wyler Award for her achievement in promoting public awareness for the conservation of animals especially her role in stopping the cruelty against whale and dolphin slaughter.	Hayden in Japan with her surfboard in an attempt to reach a pod of dolphins to stop them being driven into a nearby cove and killed.
